Case 1
For Case 1, we were divided into groups and given the task of creating a lesson plan for a teacher in Columbia. The lesson was to be designed to teach English to Colombian students who had had limited previous experience speaking English. The goal was to successfully integrate a lesson overview, learning objectives, teaching standards, lesson materials, procedures, assessments, references, and reference materials. After completing all of this, we then had to create a blog post about this experience.
We formulated a lesson plan based on what we experienced as learners of a foreign language in high school. Our lesson was created to help them master the key question words "who, what, when, where, and how." At the end of the lesson, they should be able to adequately communicate and create conversation with others using these question words. Feel free to look at my blog for more details about how our lesson plan worked out!
